The song “Mirror”
by Lil´ Wayne is a song that talks about
introspection. In this song Wayne is talking to a mirror (himself) and
reflecting about his life. When the author sees through the mirror he notes his
pain, his thoughts, his feelings, etc. This is something that happens
repeatedly in hamlet´s play. In the play hamlet usually talks to himself and
reflects about the events that happened in his life; about his feelings for hit
events (like talking to a mirror).
In one of these
reflections is when the famous phrase to be or not to be appears, which means
to kill or not to kill my uncle. Here hamlet analyze deep into his life and feelings
about the killing of his father and the thirst of revenge of the ghost. The
phrase “I see the pain here in your pride, I see you’re
not satisfied” of the song relates to hamlet because he
suffers as a cause of the pressure of the burden of his father. Hamlet also
sees that he is not satisfied because he does not know if he should kill or not
kill his uncle. The song relates to hamlet story because in both the character
analyze deep into his thoughts and realize that he is not satisfied.

"What do you want from me" by Pink Floyd
The song “What
do you want from me” by Pink Floyd it’s a hard song but soft at the same time.
The tone and beat of the song is very mixed and a little confusing like Hamlet
was during that entire seen of the play. Also, the background singers are very
crucial because it reminded me of the thoughts going through one's head. The
lyrics at also very fitting for the scene too. This song is suppose to
represent the moments before Hamlet sees the ghost of his father and what he
was thinking as he is going to see him
The phrase that
relates the most this song with the play of hamlet is “You´re so hard to
please, what do you want from me.” This strongly relates to hamlet because what
the king´s ghost asks hamlet to do is something that have multiple
perspectives. Even though Hamlets uncle deserves to die as a cause of treason it
still part of the family. Now Claudius is not just hamlets uncle but also step
father, which means that if he wants to revenge his father death he will have
to kill the now husband of his mother. This is why the song relates to hamlet,
because the ghost asks for a hard task to accomplish.
"Mad World" by Gary Jules
The song “Mad World” by Gary Jules is a song that
talks about confusion and depression of someone. The
person also sees a very tensing environment all around him; people tearing up,
and also with no expression in their faces. The author falls into a deep
depressed madness. In the phrase “I find it kind of funny, I find it
kind of sad, the dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had” the
author states a state of profound confusion and emotions. It has fallen into a
stress level in which he feels that death is the only way out of his problems.
This event also happened in the
play hamlet after the death of hamlet´s father. He sees the people around
him feeling depressed as a cause of the catastrophe, but he also sees that
there is no expression within their feelings. They had no expression in their
feelings because his uncle was the one that murdered the king, and his mother
married his uncle. The ghost of the king demands hamlets to seek revenge and
this affects hamlet emotionally. All these events confuse hamlet
emotionally and he falls into a deep depression. Later in the play hamlet reach
a point in which he does not know what to do and just wishes for his death.
This is why hamlet and the song “Mad World” relate.
"wishing you were somehow here again" from phantom of the opera
“Wishing you
were somehow here again” from phantom of the opera is a song that represent the
sadness of loosing someone you loved. This song demonstrates that the author will do
anything in order to have some more moments with his beloved one. The phrase “Wishing you were somehow here again
Wishing you were somehow near sometimes
it seem if I just dream somehow you would be here” demonstrates
that the author miss so much this person that he feels that the person is still
near him; he closes the eyes and recreates the great moments they used to spend
together.
This song relates to hamlet´s loss of his father. Hamlet got seriously
hurt by this event. Sometimes during the play hamlet gets so stressed out about
revenging the dead of his father that he wishes that he never had died. This
song also relates to hamlet because in the song the author states that he sees
his beloved one when he closes his eyes; when he sleeps. In the play of hamlet
the ghost of his father always appears when hamlet finds himself in a confusing
situation. The ghost is there in order to guide hamlet through his actions.

sonnet
Hot weather makes practices exhaust me.
Stressful drills leave teams down and sorrowful.
During rest, we get shade under a tree,
Afterwards we all feel more powerful.
As games start, player's energy released.
The coaches encouraged and reassured.
Score becomes tied and needs to be increased,
Another point is scored and win secured.
Feelings of joy and triumph fill the court.
The other team is sad and defeated.
We celebrate this great, wonderful sport.
If all goes right, it shall be repeated.
Through hard work and dedication the game is won.
This phenomenal sport is very fun.

Quote analysis
There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio,Than are dreamt of in your philosophy.
The emphasis here should be on "dreamt of", as Hamlet is pointing out how little even the most educated people can explain. One can imagine happier times when Hamlet and Horatio, studying together at Wittenberg, engaged in heated philosophical debates. In this quote Hamlet is speaking in general terms about the limitations of human thought.
